Introduction

Celestix AI ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Federal Contract Intelligence System (FCIS), a desktop application for federal contract cost estimation and analysis. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Because FCIS is a local-first application, your data stays on your machine by default.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information, limited to what you voluntarily provide:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and company name when you purchase a license or contact us.
  • License data: License key and activation status for software validation.
  • Support communications: Messages, emails, and attachments you send to our support team.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain your software license
  • Respond to your support requests and inquiries
  • Send product updates and security notifications
  • Improve our products and services

Data Storage

FCIS is a local-first application. All AI processing, bid analysis, cost estimations, and knowledge base data are stored exclusively on your local machine. We do not have access to your bid data, contract analyses, cost models, or any content processed by the application. Your local data is protected with SHA-256 hashing and PIN-based access control.

Third-Party Services

FCIS connects to the following external services only when you explicitly initiate a request:

  • SAM.gov: To search and retrieve publicly available federal contract opportunities. This is a U.S. government public API.
  • Claude API (optional): If enabled by the user, solicitation documents from SAM.gov may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API for parsing. Only publicly available solicitation text is transmitted, never your proprietary bid data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Export or delete all local application data at any time
