Includes the design and construction (DESIGN-BUILD) of up to 103 three- and four-bedroom duplexes and single-family homes with reinforced concrete roofs, walls, frames, and floors supported by concrete spread footings. The housing units are designed to provide adequate and well-configured facilities for enlisted and officer personnel and their families, and are built to withstand the hot and humid environment of Guam, typhoon winds, and strong earthquakes. Additional tasks include performing a topographical survey and soil investigation prior to notice to proceed (NTP), providing additional conduit for internet provisions, and incorporating Explosive Safety Submission (ESS) and Munitions and Explosives Of Concern (MEC) requirements as part of the contract.
