The project involves constructing a new addition to the first floor of building 1 at the erie VA Medical Center (VAMC), remodeling portions of the existing building occupied by the white clinic, women's health, and cardiology, and expanding and renovating clinical space to create an integrated primary care clinic. Work includes building a partial basement for mechanical equipment and utility closets, as well as reconfiguring outdoor areas such as parking lots, vehicular circulation and drop-off areas, sidewalks, curbs, and green spaces impacted by the expansion. Construction and remodeling will be phased to manage overall construction impact.
