This project includes the replacement, modification, or upgrade of existing electrical power distribution equipment in accordance with the wiley-wilson arc-flash report at the Portland VA medical center. Work involves replacing mv 'old switchgear' and unit substation circuit breakers in buildings 100, 101, and 103, conducting facility-wide ground resistance testing in building 100, upgrading ls & critical automatic transfer switches power meter and communication modules, providing power distribution equipment for delayed equipment automatic transfer switches in building 100, replacing the mv ring loop feeder, replacing emergency generator control panel electronics and providing redundant plc cpu, supplying spare circuit breakers, and replacing main electrical distribution equipment in building 16. Upon completion of power work, a facility-wide arc-flash hazard risk assessment with report and labeling will be performed in accordance with specification 26 05 73.
