Additional tasks involve removing and installing new entrance side jambs constructed of 14 GA stainless steel, evaluating, reconditioning, or replacing drive machine and deflector sheave assemblies and overhead sheave assemblies for 30 years of continuous use, replacing all wiring, reusing or replacing wire ways and conduit as required, balancing, testing, and certifying elevators at rated speed and capacity, and employing an independent third-party professional for final acceptance tests. The contractor will also prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish all necessary labor and materials as required by project drawings and specifications.
