The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, tools, and supervision to replace trane chiller #2 in building 101 with a New York yzma 1200 ton vsd magnetic bearing chiller using R1233ZD low pressure refrigerant, including recovery and disposal of R123 refrigerant per EPA regulations, cutting and capping piping, relocating steam and condensate lines, modifying concrete pads, and performing all associated rigging, assembly, and hydrostatic testing. Electrical work includes disconnecting existing power, reconnecting power to the new vsd, installing control wiring for chiller isolation valves and generator fuel oil controls, and supporting start-up commissioning and hydronic balancing. All work will comply with nfpa, federal, state, and local codes and VA requirements, with insulation, leak checks, programming, and operational testing to ensure the new chiller is fully functional.
