The project involves a full gut renovation of 17,300 square feet for residential programs, including complete demolition and removal of debris, asbestos and lead abatement, and inspection and repair of the floor slab. New construction will include installation of wall, floor, and ceiling systems; HVAC units and ductwork; electrical and telecommunication systems; fire alarm and sprinkler systems; plumbing fixtures; and repairs to the building's exterior envelope. The contractor will coordinate with a third-party commissioning agent for system commissioning, provide training to VA personnel, and maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures throughout the project.
