This work consists of all labor, materials and equipment to remove and dispose of the existing 4 inch asphalt trail surface and replace with a 4 inch concrete trail surface/sidewalk. The main problem with the existing trail is excessive cracking and aging of the existing 4 inch asphalt trail surface. The trail is 5-FEET wide. Note: unlike the main battlefield trail, there are no culverts, bridges, boardwalks, etc., that need to be removed or worked around. Type of contract: a firm-fixed price contract. Davis bacon prevailing wages for cameron county, brownsville, Texas will apply.
